Welcome to Menagerie Pet Photography.  I’m Kirsteen, a photographer with a passion for animals which has led to the creation of  Menagerie Pet Photography. For me photographing pets is not a sideline to photographing other things – I  specialise in taking images of animals – large or small, furry, feathery, or scaly. I love spending time with animals; they never judge, they’re always ready to please, and they never fail to put a smile on my face.

Pets are such an important part of our lives and yet we often overlook them when we think of professional images of our families. Their time with us flies by so capturing forever that cheeky personality, the ‘looks’ that only you understand or perhaps beauty where others see none is a joy. Menagerie produces beautiful professional photographs that you will enjoy displaying as art in your home.

While patience is required in bucket loads my training in canine behaviour is priceless in developing a fun and relaxed atmosphere on a shoot and happy models make beautiful pictures. Your input about your pets favourite toys and games, special places to relax, and treats they will work extra hard to earn always comes in handy too.
